This is an automatic vaccuum and floor washing circular machine. You fill it up with cleaning solution and press start.
It's worth every penny!
I have both a Scooba and a Roomba. Believe me, I was skeptical at first, before I had the Roomba, but after I first pressed "Go," I was made a believer.
They have a way of getting cleaning the edges and corners perfectly. Also, they work great going under and around kitchen tables, chairs, etc. to clean areas that you didn't even want to think about.
You can completely clean your whole house the old fashioned way to the very best of your abilities and then run "the robot" and it will still finish with a bin full of dirt. Amazing!
If you're going to buy, you might check eBay first. I bought my Scooba there and the price was only about half what iRobot charges at their site.

hi i have the roomba he is my best friend only thing is make sure there is nothing that can get stuck in it the roomba will pick everything up even money.just be sure to clean it well and buy the replacement filters when you buy your roomba they should be changed every teo to three months and are hard to find .sears has them sometimes.well good luck i'm working on the scuba for my xmas gift lol

What brand and model of robotic vacuum is the best for the money?
Any help you can give me based on first hand experience will be appreciated. Did you buy yours on line? How long have you had it? Is it holding up well? Are the filters easy to clean? Will it climb on and off of a throw rug? Did it chew a leg off of your coffee table? Does it choke and smoke out if it finds a piece of clothing or a towel on the floor? Please help me out here, folks.
The Miele - blue color model is the best for suggested reatail $349.00. It is relatively quiet and comes equipped with 4 types of brushes and power nozzles. The motor is amazing. I love it.
