How to solve this word problem? I'm in Algebra 1 and I need help!!!?
The table shows the time it takes for pipes o different sizes to fill a reservoir with water. How long would it take for both pipes working at the same time to fill the reservoir? I can't copy the table but here you go: 2 foot pipe: 12 hours. 3 foot pipe: 6 hours.
Another one:
Jacob's old robotic vacuum can clean his apartment in 1.5 hours. his new robotic vacuum can clean his apartment in 45 minutes. how long will it take both of them working together to clean the room?

except i dont think it solves word problems but it might be useful for some other problems, i have found this website very helpful, it will give you the correct answer everytime, you just type in the problem and select what you want it to do with it such as factoring or whatever

There is undeniable appeal to the idea of a robot vacuum cleaner. It ties into all the fantasies we have about housework. Of all the tasks that most of us would love to see automated, cleaning the house is probably high on many people's lists.
So, aside from being cute, what else is there to recommend a robot vacuum cleaner?
One of the big advantages is that it allows you to vacuum your rugs and floors every day. Your carpeting will look much better with daily vacuuming, and it will last longer, too. It also means the grit and dust that normally gets tracked in will be under control. If you have pets, having a robot vacuum cleaner vacuuming the house every day means having much less animal hair around the place.
