I'm allergic to the dog.?
My family recently got a dog, and I'm highly allergic to it. When I'm around him, I break out in large, red splotches around my nose, mouth, and arms. They don't go away overnight, and it's embarrassing to go to school with them. Also, I have trouble breathing. The doctor told me to get hydrocortizone cream, but that isn't helping much. I take zyritec but once again, almost no results. I already have an air filter and my mom bought two Roomba vacuums to do the cleaning in my room every day. The dog gets groomed every week, but yet I still have these blotches. I asked them to get rid of the dog, but they refused.
I wanted to go back to my doctor to get stronger allergy pills and cream, but my mom refuses to bring me, as she is convinced that I'm fine. Is there anything that I can do to stop the blotches?
well maybe you could ask to see the docter and ask about this. my friend has 2 dogs and 8 cats and she is allergic to all of them she wears a small patch on her side to keep her from breaking out and sneezing and coughing you should try the same! but ask your doctor first
