What can I say about the iPhone that has not already been said? Whenever I gaze upon the beauty of this engineering marvel I simply weep.
I also weep whenever I watch this video about the guy who couldn’t get an iPhone.
Zune
After the brown Zune was launched it provided iPod fanatics with a lot of laughs. But don’t count out the 800-pound gorilla just yet. They did it with Windows. They did it with IE. And now the Zune. Version 1.0? Crap. Version 3.0? Watch out!
iPod
The iPod has taken over the world. Can anyone even think of another device that any self-respecting person would use to listen to music and now watch videos? Don’t answer.
And I know there’s that loser product from Microsoft but that one doesn’t even count.
Social Networking
You’ve known it all along, even in the Web 1.0 world: It’s all about you.
Now everybody can track what’s going on in your life. Forget the world. Forget the Solar System. You are the center of the universe!

Tagging
Tagging is one of the main features of Web 2.0. No more top-down, hierarchical, authoritative, “white man oppressor” menu structures for us. We are organic. Power to the people!
MySpace
Need friends. Get MySpace. I am so pumped! I got my first friend on my MySpace page and his name is Tom. Yo Tom! Wazzzzup!
It may not be Web 2.0 but it is soooooooo popular; who cares if it doesn’t meet Zeldman’s idea of a standard web page. I mean, do I really want Zeldman as my friend?

AJAX
It makes your web site more exciting. Your site visitors get instant feedback gratification when they click, tab, type or even yawn. What are you waiting for Mr. Web Gooroo? Get you some AJAX and start wowing the world.
Web 2.0
Everything is different now. The web is changing rapidly. We used to live in a dull, boring Web 1.0 world. Check out the Way Back Machine if you don’t believe me.
It’s hard to imagine what our world was like before tagging, social networking and AJAX. It’s just better now.
Of course, don’t just take my word for it. Read What is Web 2.0 by Tim O’Reilly, the man who is widely credited with coining the phrase Web 2.0.
